HEPA stands for High-Efficiency Particulate Air. A true HEPA filter is a medical-grade filter that is certified to trap 99.97% of all particles 0.3 microns in size. This is critical for post-construction dust, which is much finer than typical household dust. Standard vacuums often just blow these tiny particles back into the air. Our sealed HEPA vacuums capture and remove them permanently.

We clean delicate fixtures by hand with extreme care. Our standard post-construction cleaning service includes the full interior of the windows: the glass, sills, and tracks. Cleaning the exterior of windows is a separate service that requires different equipment and safety protocols. However, we can absolutely add exterior window cleaning to your project for an additional fee if you require it.

If the furniture was present during construction, it will inevitably be covered in a fine layer of dust. As part of our service, we can perform a thorough dusting and vacuuming of all upholstered furniture surfaces. While this addresses the construction dust, it is not a deep upholstery or stain removal service, which is a different specialty.

This requires a specific technique. We use brand-new, high-quality microfiber cloths that are designated only for high-gloss surfaces to prevent any cross-contamination with abrasive particles. We use a minimal amount of a pH-neutral, streak-free cleaner and wipe with light pressure, then buff with a dry cloth to produce a perfect, reflective finish without any swirls or haze.

We are very familiar with the “floating finish date” of construction projects and we are flexible. We ask that you keep us updated as you get new information from your contractor. While we can’t guarantee last-minute availability, we will work with you to reschedule your cleaning for the earliest possible date after the work is truly complete.

Our service is focused on the fine cleaning and detailing of the home’s interior. We bag and collect all minor debris found during our cleaning process (like dust, small wood scraps, plastic coverings) and place it in the homeowner’s designated on-site disposal bins. We do not haul away large construction materials, as this is typically the responsibility of the general contractor.
